This piece is a select spread from "Shanyaak'utlaax: Salmon Boy" a children's story adapted from a traditional Alaska Native (Tlingit) story and winner of the American Indian Library Association's Best Picture Book Award in 2018. The book was adapted and published by Sealaska Heritage Institute, 2017.
